About the Archive

Between the sporadic publishing of official material, SLA Industries has been kept alive by the hard work and incredible writing of fans from around the world. This archive is intended to be a repository of all that work and creative ideas that have made the SLA Industries fan community such a great place and by giving access to future SLA fans, the material stored here will hopefully insipire others to contribute and keep the game we all love alive.

Like Integration-20 with its Black Stump Archives before it some of the material stored here comes from old fan websites that are no longer around and I have no way of contacting the owners. If your work is displayed here without your permission, my sincere apologies.

If you would like me to remove your articles or to verify a credit, or if you would like to contribute to the Archive please feel free to contact me using the contact section on this website.

Cerise - Fiction - Novel

Writing SLA novels and stories has been a great joy for the last several years.  I have one more to go before I decide whether or not I'll do anything else in this setting. Posted here is the first part of what will likely be a book to rival "Shiv" in length.

Merchandise Mart Massacre

An unofficial SLA Industries scenario.

Merchandise Mart Massacre is a Silver BPN inspired by the novel Jennifer Government. Like the book, proles are shot to make publicity for a new brand of shoes.

Reccomended package: Media
Colour Code: Silver (0.4 SCL Increase)
Coverage: Third Eye News
Consolidated Bonus Scheme: 250c per op
Promotion of Biokick, product of Nexus, Karma Subsidiary. Discretion advised. Mission requires planning and execution of publicity stunt.

WHITE - Day of the DAC

Day of the DAC
Mr Daniels from the Inch From Eden BPN returns to the squad after their (presumed) success previously with more cleanup work for Karma.

Background

GREY - Sordid Fascination

Sordid Fascination
While outwardly a fairly simple surveillance BPN, Operatives who are prepared to dig a little deeper and consider the motives of the person manipulating them will find more under the surface. This serves as an exercise in demonstrating that for the inquisitive the rewards can be interesting, but the risks higher.

GREEN - An Inch From Eden

An Inch From Eden
In this BPN the characters escape the confines of the city and go off-world. The contrast couldn’t be more startling – from the grime and rain of Mort to the verdant warmth of Lilac. However, while paradise is but a footstep away the Ops can only ever see it through the grimy window of a research facility. Lilac was created by Blut_Und_Glas.

Background

RED - Tower Offence

Tower Offence
A little break from the intrigue and investigation. This BPN is a simple hostage situation, deliberately open ended to let the players run free with their imagination as they try to rescue the board of directors of a subsidiary.

Rancor - Stormer Variant 762

While the Domino Dog and Grit are counted as relative successes in Karma's eyes the designers of the company always strive to outdo themselves. One up-and-comer proposed the concept that there was still a niche to be filled in Stormers to help 'pacify' the Cannibal Sectors. While the Domino Dog excelled at close combat, it had no range advantage, and while the Grit could dominate in both ranged and close quarters combat, it was heavily reliant upon equipment to maintain this advantage.

WHITE - Gift from the Machine

Gift from the Machine
This BPN is the third part of the machine campaign. With Manchine Cultists thin on the ground, their prototype potentially destroyed, and their grim design ready for phase two field tests, Tek Trex once again clash with the squad.

Background

SILVER - Narcotic Trends

Narcotic Trends
No twists this time. After all, if every BPN had a moral or a lesson then the players would look out for it. This does demonstrate the importance of the media to some extent though. This should also help cement the squad’s relationship with Lloyd Langley, for later surprises.
