Every GM has there tricks, here is a good place to share them with others and perhaps you will pick up a few of your own.
The body of this FAQ was compiled by James Fullerton, and previously hosted at the Department of Misinformation. Since the disappearance of that site, it was continued at i20 and has now moved to Fractal Silence. Much of the material in James' version is still accurate. Originally composed as a reference document for the Station Analysis mailing list, the only change that has been made is to make this version more centred on SLA in general. In addition, a small bit of editing from the i20 version has occured.

NOTE: Though Hogshead Publishing is no longer the publisher of SLA Industries, and the current publisher, Cubicle 7 has given little direction regarding IP issues, it would still generally be a good idea to follow the guidelines as they were the last official statement on the matter.
This section was originally included to cover posting guidelines for the Station Analysis Mailing List. It is included here for the sake of completeness.

SLA comes with mountains of engrossing, atmospheric, consistent background.
The characters are familiar enough to be recogniseable, but different enough to be intriguing.
The world is the first mega-corporation-owns-everything setting to be believable.
It asks more questions than it answers.
The rules aren't very broken.
The three articles below are in response to Dava's request for thoughts about SLA v2. The first is my thoughts on the setting, then the system and finally my ideas for a possible cover.
