Issuing Red BPNs

"Operative, this is Station Analysis. We have determined that a terrorist situation is occurring in your vicinity. As the nearest Squad available you have been assigned a Red BPN to deal with the terrorist situation. This BPN, reference #RED022924453-SA supersedes BPN #WHI022944563-DI that you are currently working on for the duration of the terrorist situation. Each member of the squad will be paid 200 credits and you are to proceed to the corner of Fifth and Wesson immediately. SHIVERS on the scene will brief you.

Issuing BPNs

Who can issue a BPN?

You need to be a representative of a Department or subsidiary company, with sufficient budgetary authority to pay for the BPN at credit cost, plus the same again for admin to either 3ird Eye or Station Analysis, plus 100c per .1 SCL increase.

Are BPNs filtered before being issued?

Legit BPNs are lodged with the 3ird Eye or Station Analysis control departments before issue -- any queries or refusals will come up then.

Experience Points

I tend to use Red, Blue and Yellow BPNs as relaxation storylines and the Jade, Green, Grey and White BPNs as more cerebral BPNs.

Different ways of using Green BPNs

I tend to use Red, Blue and Yellow BPNs as relaxation storylines and the Jade, Green, Grey and White BPNs as more cerebral BPNs.

Scavs - An Alternate Background

An overview of Scavs in JNFWoP

My ideas on Scavs are a little different than most peoples. Mine are based on the Cannibals in Sector four as outlined in the Mort Sourcebook. I got my names mixed up once and ever since then when I've mentioned Scavs that is what I've meant.

Mutant Carrien Massacre Techniques

The MRB mentions in the Carrien section that Mutant Carrien can control their pain using Massacre Techniques. However, the book does not state what these are. I've always assumed that the Massacre Techniques are a method unique to the Mutant Carrien to control their pain. In effect they become blood-lusted during a fight, and this 'high' blocks out their otherwise ceaseless pain. This blood lust then takes a few hours to dissipate after any massacre, allowing them some respite from their pain.

Dark Night Interceptor Teams

Rival Company 101: DarkNight Interceptor Squads

(DN Ceptors, ITC Squads, Dino Pro-Cells, Raptor packs, Fury squads, SHuf-ShiF Squads (as in 'Strike Hard - Strike Fast' Squads))

Dark Night Civilian Convert Teams

Rival Company 101: DarkNight Civilian Convert Teams

(DN Cells, 3C Dops, Dino Converts, Meatball squads, Pitbull packs, Zombie cells)

Dark Night Sniper Teams

Rival Company 101: DarkNight sniper teams

These notes are taken from a two lesson Rival Company course from Meny University.

Okay, today's lesson is about expelling the myth of 'Lone Gunman' snipers. The media, especially KillZone, like to show video clips of lone DarkNight snipers, trapped in bell towers shooting down at civilians. And you then see a squad of Operatives rushing in to take them down, followed by a short clip of all of the shell casings the sniper has fired.
